Ever since I was a little girl growing up in Connecticut, I've hated cold weather. Although New England autumns are extraordinarily beautiful, they used to make me a little sad because I knew winter was right around the corner. Sometimes I can't believe how lucky I am to live in Florida now.

Missing New England

Although I love living here in Florida, I always get homesick for Connecticut during this time of year. Up in New England, September is agricultural fair season. This weekend is the Goshen Fair which is near my grandparents' house. The weekend after next, it's the Guilford Fair in my hometown.
