Happy Birthday, Joni Mitchell!

It's hard to believe that Joni Mitchell is a mere mortal. She paints, sings, plays a gazillion instruments, and writes incredibly beautiful songs. She's pretty, too!

Blue is one of my all-time favorite albums. I especially love the
melancholy Christmas carol, River.

Woodstock is one of Joni Mitchell's most famous songs. Legend has it that she wrote it in the car on her way to Yasgur's Farm,
but she didn't make it to the festival because she was stuck in a traffic jam. Here is my favorite version of the song. It's from her live album, Miles of Aisles.
