True Crime

Every now and then I feel like reading something grisly. If you like to watch detective shows like City Confidential or Cold Case Files, you may enjoy reading true crime books, too. As they say, truth is stranger (and more intriguing) than fiction.

Here are a few good titles to try:

Halfway Heaven: Diary of a Harvard Murder by Melanie Thernstrom

Murder in the Heartland by M. Williams Phelps

Sins of the Son by Carlton Stowers

The Woodchipper Murder by Arthur Herzog

Please visit your local library where you can borrow books for free. Pressed for time? Call ahead and ask to have your books held at the counter for you to pick up.
