The Wikipedia article, Library 2.0, has some great slogans such as "rigidity breeds failure" and "beta is forever."I also just finished reading Dr. Wendy Schultz's article about the future of libraries, To a Temporary Place in Time. I don't know why, but it made me think about the classic children's novel, A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle. Perhaps it's the mixing of sci-fi and spirituality, technology and humanity. I'll have to re-read the book and ponder it some more.
But not until after hurricane season. I'm very superstitious, and the last time I read A Wrinkle in Time, Hurricane Wilma paid us a surprise visit. (The book starts off with the famous line, "It was a dark and stormy night.")
