The Wikipedia article, Library 2.0, has some great slogans such as "rigidity breeds failure" and "beta is forever."
I also just finished reading Dr. Wendy Schultz's article about the future of libraries, To a Temporary Place in Time. I don't know why, but it made me think about the classic children's novel, A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle. Perhaps it's the mixing of sci-fi and spirituality, technology and humanity. I'll have to re-read the book and ponder it some more.
But not until after hurricane season. I'm very superstitious, and the last time I read A Wrinkle in Time, Hurricane Wilma paid us a surprise visit. (The book starts off with the famous line, "It was a dark and stormy night.")
